Yves Béhar - Industrial Design Visionary

Yves Béhar is the founder of fuseproject, an integrated design agency dedicated to the development of the emotional experience of products and brands. Béhar's designs span diverse industries, such as consumer technology, furniture, sports, lifestyle and fashion. He has created well known products, such as the Jawbone Bluetooth headset, the Slingbox media player, and the One Laptop Per Child. Clients include Herman Miller, MINI, Nike, Microsoft, Swarovski, Birkenstock, Toshiba, Sony, Target, and Coca-Cola.

Yves has most recently been recognized as one of TIME Magazine's 25 visionaries for 2007. He is also a recipient of the prestigious National Design Award for industrial design awarded by the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian museum. Other awards have been received from IDEA/BusinessWeek, Red Dot, ID Magazine, and D&AD, and his work can be found in the permanent design collection of the NY MoMA, SF MoMA, the Munich Museum of Applied Arts, and the Chicago Athenaeum Museum.

Prior to founding fuseproject in 1999, Yves held the position of design leader at frogdesign and Lunar design in Silicon Valley, developing product identities with clients such as Apple, Hewlett Packard and Silicon Graphics.

Greg Lynn - Architecture Visionary

Greg Lynn, founder of Greg Lynn FORM, has been at the cutting edge of architecture and design culture for over 20 years, and is a consistent visionary and early adopter of industry changing technology. In 2005, Forbes Magazine named him one of the ten most influential living architects.

His designs have been exhibited in both architecture and art museums, including the permanent collections of the MoMA, CCA, SF MoMA, as well as special exhibits at the Venice Biennale of Architecture, and the Pompidou, Beyeler, Cooper Hewitt, MAK, MoCA, NAI, Carnegie, ICA, and Secession museums.

TIME Magazine named Greg to the list of "100 Innovators of the Next Century" in 2001. He received the American Academy of Arts & Letters Architecture Award in 2003, as well as numerious professional awards from AIA and Progresive Architecture. His Korean Presbyterian Church of New York was officially listed by the NYC Landmarks Commission as one of the thirty most important buildings built in the last 30 years.

Max Sims - Design Tools Expert

Max Sims is an award-winning designer with an extensive computer graphics background. His work has appeared on the covers of ID, Rana magazine and The Architecture of Cyberspace. In 2004, he received the Medical Design Excellence Award and Industrial Design Excellence Award for the Natus Algo 3i, which is used to help medical professionals screen a newborn's hearing.

Max is currently Assistant Professor for 3D Modeling and Rendering at Cogswell Polytechnical College, and serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Academy of Art University (AAU). Max Sims has worked for Alias (now Autodesk) where he lead the software effort enabling console game authoring. Max is the author of the critically acclaimed Inside Maya, the definitive user's guide to Autodesk Maya. Previously, he was the President for the San Francisco/Bay Area Maya users group.
